This is usually due to your ISP sending you to a page of their choice when they can't find the web site you're trying to load. (It's usually a web search / directory site or, as you're seeing, a domain registry.) If this is what is happening, you will be sent to the same default domain registry site if you enter a nonsense web site address, like http://www.dfhaowefhwaekfhe.com .
Since other computers on the same network don't have this problem, it's a little more complicated. Perhaps your Mac is set up to use different DNS than the other computers, or DNS information isn't being fed to your computer in the same way as the others for some reason. This is assuming that the other computers are on the same network, using the same internet connection.
You could compare the DNS settings on your Mac and on the computers in the studio to see if either yours or the others have custom DNS set up, which would explain the difference in behavior. On your Mac, that's in System Preferences, in the Network section. If necessary, click on the name of the connection you're using (e.g. Airport or Ethernet) and then click 'Configure.' Click on the TCP/IP section. Is anything entered for DNS Servers? If so, try deleting those entries (saving them for later in case you want to put them back).
If nothing is entered for DNS addresses on your Mac and and you aren't able to determine if the other computers have alternate DNS servers set up, I would try using OpenDNS addresses. This would bypass some bad DNS information you're receiving or substitute for good DNS information you're somehow not being fed. OpenDNS has very reliable DNS information, ensuring that if a web site exists, your web browser will load it rather than being sent to that domain registration page you're seeing now. If nothing else, trying the OpenDNS addresses is a good way to troubleshoot the problem to figure out if it is indeed a problem with DNS.
